Back to Burma

I got back to Rangoon at 1:04 PM on Dec 11. It was very exciting to see my family and very depressing to see the country and how it hasn't changed in 4 years. I have changed in the last 4 years and Burma can't keep up with the rate I have changed. One immigration officer asked me if I brought back some chocolate (meaning he wants some as bribery.) Feeling as if all my dreams and hopes were flushed in the toilet, I went ahead to baggage claim and got my luggage. Feeling like a stranger in my own land, I just watched what the Phoenix airport service guys were doing (they were picking up my luggage which I would normally do myself in the U.S.)
